The Plain Old Dirt is an alt- country rock band from Montreal.Some of their influences include Gram Parsons, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. The band is led by singer-songwriter Brent McCambridge, who is of Irish roots, born and raised in Verdun, Quebec. His soulful voice and poetry reflect the life he knows. The songs come from places of survival and rebirth, of flesh, bone and truth.
